The Foodbridge vzw in collaboration with Networking for Africans in Belgium, Renaissance Africaine asbl, De La Luna Agency, Solidev, YABS Network, with the support of Ondernemers voor Ondernemers vzw, is organizing African Diaspora Projects Initiative 2017 REGISTER HERE: http://bit.ly/adpi2017
The aim of this initiative is to give members of the African Diaspora with social entrepreneurial ideas and projects, an opportunity to pitch these to a team of experts from Ondernemers voor Ondernemers vzw.
Entrepreneurs will have 7 minutes in the first phase to present their ideas or projects. Each participant is expected to register before the 25th of May, indicating:
• The name of the project
• The sector of activity
• The location of the activity in Africa
• A one page synopsis of the project
• The expected social impact of your project in Africa
• The viability and the potential for profit in 3 years
• The required financial investment
Selected projects could get investment of between 5,000€ and 100,000€. Although the focus is on agro-food projects, other projects in affiliated sectors such as transportation, waste management, energy, technology, etc. can also be presented as part of this initiative.

In collaboration with Kwabre Ne Sekyere Belgium,Mfantesman vzw,Voice of Women International, Kente FM and other African organizations, we are organizing "The Helping Hand project",is an action started in 2016, aimed at feeding the homeless in the Brussels area. We are in need of volunteers to help with the cooking, packing and distribution of food to the homeless and needy. We are also still looking for sponsors for this project.
